YES FOR MARRAIGE!

This is an email that I recieved yesterday.

Vote for Marriage - Yes on 102
You'll make the difference--take these 3 steps:
1. Learn what Yes on 102 means for Arizona (and you)
2. Vote your conscience
3. Forward this to your friends

1. What Yes on 102 Means for Arizona (and You)
Prop 102 is 20 simple and clear words that define marriage as the union of one man and one woman. Voting Yes on 102 places these important words in the Arizona Constitution, leaving no room for interpretation by judges, politicians, or special interest groups.
The 20 words: "Only a union of one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in this state."

What do these words protect us from?

2. Vote Your Conscience
While it's nice to CARE about marriage, it's essential to VOTE! Here's how:
A. Get registered! (Deadline October 6, 2008)
Not sure if you are? Get out your driver's license, then Click here:
https://recorder.maricopa.gov/earlyvoteballotnet/voterreglookup.aspx
Fill in the information and Click "Submit"

If you're not registered or need to update your registration, get out your driver's license, then Click here:
https://servicearizona.com/webapp/evoter/
Enter the information page by page. When you're done, print out your receipt, which you may need when you vote.

B. VOTE! either by early ballot (By far the easier method--no driving to a polling place or waiting in line)
Or in person at your polling place on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 (Please mark your calendar.)

To request an early ballot online (Deadline October 24, 2008):
To start, Click here:
http://www.azsos.gov/election/county.htm
Scroll down to your county. At the listing for your county, Click on the line that says:
"Request your EARLY BALLOT online today ..."
Follow the online instructions.
(You can also request an early ballot by mail. You may receive a mailing from Yes on 102 for that purpose. Just fill it out and send it in NOW.)

One last note, if you request an early ballot, you can ONLY vote by early ballot. When you receive it, vote with it and either mail it in or, on November 4, 2008, drop it off at your polling place.

3. Forward This to Your Friends
Every vote counts. Please send this to the people you know in Arizona. Each vote for marriage makes it more likely we will win.
