On Saturday, after our adventurous morning, we decided to carve our pumpkin!
This is actually the first time that we have carved one since we have been married. We wanted to do it for the kids sake. Especially since Kyle is getting to the age where he understands so much now! We want him to start learning the diferent traditions for all fo the diferent hollidays.

We want him to start learning the diferent traditions for all fo the diferent hollidays. He loved his pumpkin! He even had a great time helping us pick it out at the store! He was very excited when we told him that he was going to be able to make a big neass!!!
However, that attitude changed when he saw Daddy start to cut the top of the pumpkin off! He immediately ran to the recliner which he calls His Thinking Chair, and stayed there the whole time. He was very scared that his pumpkin was getting hurt, and he would have NOTHING to do with it after that!!!
So Aaron and I carved the pumpkin instead. 
Mackenzie was very excited by the whole thing! She was trying her best to help!!!

Next year Kenzie will be old enough to help, and hopefully Kyle will want to help too!!!

I didn't know he thought his pumpkin was getting hurt. I thought he was scared of the face you were carving. That's funny! Kyle's such a cutie
